Our Story
How Braven Rovers FC came to be and where we're heading
Our Origin Story
Braven Rovers FC was founded in 2026 with a simple vision: to build a disciplined, community-driven amateur football club that puts football first while embracing digital storytelling to grow sustainably.
The club originally began under the name Borneo Rovers FC, reflecting our roots in Borneo and our ambition to represent the region through football.
As part of the formal club registration process, we adopted the name Braven Rovers FCto establish a distinct registered identity. While the name changed, our vision, leadership, football philosophy, and commitment to our players and community have remained exactly the same.
Today, Braven Rovers FC continues the journey that began as Borneo Rovers FC, focusing on consistent player development, responsible club management, and long-term sustainable growth.
We believe success is earned through discipline, consistency, and integrity. Every training session, every match, and every partnership is another step toward building a club that will stand the test of time.
What Makes Us Different

Members contribute without interfering. Clear roles protect the training environment and coaching authority.

Structured training and friendly matches with disciplined standards. Growth happens at a sustainable pace.
Our Values
Effort over excuses
We keep things simple: show up, work hard, improve fast. No ego, no drama, just progress as a club.
Transparency over mystery
Everything we do is open. Clear updates, documented decisions, no hidden agendas, no guesswork.
Fun over perfection
Football is serious, but the club doesn't have to be stiff. We experiment, make mistakes and keep moving.
Grassroots over gatekeeping
Everyone is welcome. Anyone can join, give ideas and contribute. No barriers, no gatekeepers, no exclusivity.
Future Vision
We want to become a respected amateur club in Malaysia. Not the biggest, not the richest, but one that people respect for how we do things.
Trial intake windows that give players from any state a fair chance. No politics, no shortcuts — selection is coach-led and based on attendance, attitude, discipline, and match readiness.
A membership community with clear roles: members can contribute financially and follow the journey, while football decisions remain fully under the authority of the coaching staff.
