BRFC CupSabah 2026
A one-day 11-a-side amateur football tournament in Kota Kinabalu, bringing together up to 16 teams for group-stage and knockout football.
Team entry is confirmed once the required deposit has been received, subject to slot availability.
Tournament Format
Group stage
16 teams are planned across four groups. Matches move from the group stage into the knockout rounds.
Match duration
Group-stage through semi-final matches are scheduled for 15 minutes straight. The final is scheduled for 20 minutes straight.
Squad size
Each team may register up to 18 players.
Third place
There is no third-place playoff. The two losing semi-finalists are joint third-place finishers.
Team Entry
per team
RM400 deposit to confirm a slot.
Deposit deadline: 17 October 2026.
Full payment deadline: 24 October 2026.
Cash Prizes
RM5,500 total cash prize pool.
Player Eligibility
Active state players are not permitted to participate.
Additional limits apply to former state players and passport holders. Team managers should confirm the full eligibility rules with the organiser before finalising their squad.
Tournament disciplinary charges include RM30 for a yellow card and RM100 for a red card.
