Braven Rovers FC recorded a 3-0 walkover win against Ex Paiwen Football Club in our opening fixture of Piala Cahya Mata 2026.
The match was scheduled for 1 August 2026 at Padang Sukma B. BRFC players and coaches arrived at the venue and completed their matchday preparations, but the opposing team was unable to attend.
The result was subsequently recorded as an official 3-0 walkover victory for Braven Rovers FC.
Although the team did not have the opportunity to compete on the pitch, the fixture marked BRFC's first scheduled appearance in Piala Cahya Mata 2026. The squad also appeared in the club's new away kit for the tournament.
Speaking after the result, captain Sadat said the team would not be discouraged and would continue preparing for the next match.
BRFC will now return its focus to training, match readiness, and the next stage of the competition. The club remains committed to representing itself with discipline and continuing to gain experience through structured competitive football.
